Part 1: In todays episode of Pretty Powerful, I got to have one of my most raw & fascinating interviews to date with Dara Buczynsky, a mom, wife, and the owner of Epiphany Athens. Epiphany is a stunning 4,000 square foot clothing + home store that was grown out of Dara’s love for beautiful things but also her want to give back to charities that were doing great things to help others.
In this part one of two, Dara dives into heartfelt topics such as adoption abroad and the moment she met her daughter for the first time in an orphanage in the Ukraine. This is one of the life moments that would soon be part of the foundation for figuring out the business model and mission for her store. You’ll get to know Dara’s fascinating backstory that took her from getting her masters degree, to becoming a missionary, and ultimately creating a retail store whose main goal is to give back with each sale made.
